Since JEIC is a new
journal, the first volume (two issues) of the journal can also contain a
limited number of general, introductory invited papers, devoted to assess
the scope of the journal and to encourage a wider readership. Papers can be
submitted at any time, and will be published, if possible, in the next
issue following acceptance. The inaugural issue is expected for Spring
